I don't do rigid posing or ask you to hold uncomfortable smiles. Instead, we plan a beautiful outing—like a golden hour beach stroll—where you can simply laugh, connect, and be yourself while I capture the magic.

01. How far in advance should I book?
For Lifestyle & Engagement Sessions: I recommend booking 3 to 4 weeks in advance, especially if you want a coveted weekend sunset spot in Camps Bay or Llandudno.For Weddings: My calendar fills up quickly for peak Cape Town wedding season (October to April). I highly recommend reaching out 8 to 12 months before your wedding day.
02. What should we wear to a shoot?
Earth tones, neutrals, and soft pastel colors look incredible against the Atlantic Seaboard’s white sand and blue water. Once you book, I will send you a styling guide to help you choose.
03. What happens if it's windy or raining?
Cape Town weather can be unpredictable! If the wind at Camps Bay is too wild or it rains, we will monitor the forecast together and reschedule for the next clear, beautiful day.What should we wear to a beach shoot?
04. Do you offer engagement sessions?
Yes, absolutely! At CG Photography, I love shooting engagement sessions. In fact, I highly recommend them to all of my wedding couples. An engagement shoot is the perfect "warm-up" before your big wedding day. It gives us a chance to hang out behind the lens, helps you get comfortable with my relaxed style of prompting, and breaks all the camera nerves. Plus, you get a beautiful gallery of candid, romantic images to use for your "Save the Dates" or wedding website!
